Job Description We are looking for a WELL qualified, US BASED writer who has a penchant for the financial markets. This writer will be responsible for authoring content focused in the areas of: *Small Caps *Dividend and Income *Energy and Commodities *ETFs We are looking for articles that will be exclusively published on our web site and through our content distribution partners. Specifically, we are looking for unique articles related to: *Major news events that are affecting the financial markets and individual stocks *Individual stocks that are rising or falling dramatically in price due to earnings, analyst opinions, or news events *Sectors and stocks within those sectors that are in the news Our goal is to write headline worthy content that is being searched for by individual investors. The ideal writers will have a basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), or are willing to learn how to optimize their content for search. While we aim to write articles that are news worthy, we don’t simply want to regurgitate the news from the financial media. Instead, we seek creative writers who can evaluate investments, form their own opinion, and provide actionable ideas to our audience. The ideal writer will be able to commit to writing 2 – 5 articles for us every week. These articles should be turned around quickly and not require significant amounts of research. We expect writers to pitch ideas to our editor, and also be receptive to last-minute assignments with expected turn-around within two or three hours. * Please note on your area of expertise when applying. * Compensation will be "per-article" at a mutually negotiated rate.
