February 15, 2012 Audience Profile: Please describe your existing audience: Mid-range (from a budget perspective) wedding clients, individuals seeking family/portrait photography Who would you like to add to your audience? High-end wedding clients Perception/Tone/Guidelines: What type of logo would you like? We are in search of a logo that can be used for both web and print media of various sizes (used as a small graphic logo on our website, business cards, and larger print media such as letter heads, invoices, and even as large as display boards for trade shows) Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?) Considering the use of a "heather grey" and some shade of yellow, although those colors are only possibilities. Please do not limit your work to include only those colors. Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo? No particular images in mind. Would probably prefer to focus on the name of the business with some limited illustrative design to make the logo / brand memorable. Communication Strategy: What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? Professionalism, high levels of personal service, attention to detail, photojournalistic style Where will your new logo be used? Website (currently http://www.raineydayphotography.com but will be changing domain, etc... upon completion of the logo), business cards, customer statements and invoices, and trade show materials (flyers, large display boards) Competitive Positioning: Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos? http://swanky5studios.org/ - Difficult to read, does not convey professionalism http://tinawilson.com/ - Easy to read, but not remarkable. Simple text. http://annahedges.com/ - Good logo. Her color scheme is great, so our primary concern is that our logo does not look too similar to hers. http://lorihensley.com/ - Very plain. Not remarkable. http://dixiepixelphoto.com/ - Artifacts in the font rendering within the logo, but does parallel look and feel of the rest of the website. List competitive URLs if possible What sets you apart from your competitors? Higher quality, photo-journalistic style. We avoid trendy digital editing procedures and favor a classic style of photography to provide timeless images to customers. We also focus on building relationships that last with each of our customers and play an active role in making their events memorable and special. Keywords: Logos
