J2EE- Senior Java Software Developer - Spring/ MVC/ Struts/ JBoss
Evolution Recruitment currently has an immediate need for a senior software developer to design, develop and implement code as well as to contributing to the overview of the project on an application level, component level and on individual programming tasks. You must have strong J2EE skills as well as a good understanding of web development ie html, javascript, css, as well as databases (SQL, RDBMS etc). Our client works to very stringent processes and timescales so you must be able to work to very high levels with limited supervision and as this is a senior role you will be expected to mentor more junior members of the team and you will be required to take responsibility for code delivery for the core element of a major project. Skills required are - unit testing especially JUnit. a high level of Spring framework (dependency injection, mvc, webflow, etc), JBoss, EJB2, EJB3, AOP, JMS, Struts, Hibernate, SOA. Good knowledge of design patterns. Enterprise Service Bus. Agile development. High performance, high availability systems. Knowledge of current trends in Java / awareness of popular open source projects. Knowledge of other languages (C++, Groovy, C#, Ruby, Python, etc). Knowledge of build processes: ant, maven, continuous integration.
