We have a Sybase-based relational data base shipping and transportation program that was originally developed in Delphi needing to be modified. The project contains 3 phases. Phase 1: Migration from a Sybase SQL to a MS SQL backbone. Phase 2: Currently, the program uses the iDen network to communicate with cell phones. We would like to modify this to use CDMA, or the over-the-air data networks to transfer information to Smart phones. A secondary path may be to use the internet natively, allowing the various transport mechanisms to be utilized. Phase 3: We would like to overhaul the GUI for look and feel/ease of use and add-ability of new features. A web based SaaS conversion is a possibility. Upon successful completion of each phase, the individual may be extended into the next. A successful candidate for Phase 1 will know all three environments; Delphi, Sybase and MS SQL. They would also have the ability to work remotely. Bids to be further developed as the vetting process continues.
