Shape a Cake Engineering Design
Job Description I am looking to contract out concept design and engineering for a consumer goods product called Shape-a-Cake. Our invention is a patent pending flexible strip that allows Bakers to create a customized perimeter of a cake. General Specs 1) Last 30+ uses 2) Withstand 550 degrees F (Oven safe) 3) 3” tall (can be taller) 4) 24’ long -- possible several sections that can connect 5) Bendable/moldable in shape, but allows for sharp(ish) edges 6) Does not allow cake batter to escape between the strip and a baking sheet 7) Strip ends connect to create enclosed space Nice to have: Non-stick Dishwasher safe Ability to develop a prototype or experience working with prototype manufacturers also a plus.
