POSITION SUMMARY Monitor all production for adherence to our customers� specification. Work closely with Quality Control to improve our products. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, support equipment and utilities in order to keep machines operating efficiently. This includes machines and systems involved with Blow Molding. JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma or GED. • 0-1 Year experience • Mechanical aptitude/ experience, preferably troubleshooting production equipment. • Ability to use hand tools and other related tools. • Satisfactory work and attendance record. • Knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure all quality control procedures are being followed to maintain process and product quality. This information is then entered into the computer. • Ensure the machine is running a quality part by maintaining a stable process. • Properly fill out and turn in all daily quality and production paperwork at the end of the shift. • Successfully complete 6 week training program • All other duties as assigned, including assisting and learning job requirements of other job classifications as required. • Operate plant machinery. • Preventative maintenance on machines when scheduled. • Maintain maintenance logs, records, and other documentation. • Maintain a clean and orderly work area. • Maintain clear effective communication with others in order to produce maximum results with minimum hassle. • Adhere to Lock out/Tag out program. • Observe all safe practice guidelines. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor. • Safely and efficiently operate equipment on all production lines. • Recognize quality defects and learn their cause and correction. • Learn and utilize proper procedures for label and color changes. • Learn the operation of the resin delivery systems. • Participate in the correction of any line safety issues. • Perform required checks. • Perform assigned PM�s. • Maintain a proactive approach to customer communication. • Actively participate in available training and utilize learned skills to maintain safe , efficient operation of all line equipment. • All other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Lead Person, including assisting and learning job responsibilities of other classifications as required.
