Job Description JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A degree in Computer Science or related field Experience: 5+ years interactive/web development experience 3+ years Business and Systems Analysis 3+ years PHP development Database Management: MySQL, SQL Server, etc ECM and EDAM system background (Alfresco, Vignette, Documentum, or TeamSite) Skills: Must be able to work with an existing body of code (maintenance, feature additions, debugging, etc). Must be able to work in a cross-platform environment (Windows XP/Vista/7, MacOS X Tiger/Leopard/Snow). Experience with Mobile App development a plus (iOS, Android, PalmOS, or Windows Mobile). User Interface or Audio/DSP Programming experience a plus. A portfolio that exhibits a strong ability in interactive programming Understanding of information architecture as it relates to back-end development Proactive self-starter with good business and communication skills Ability to work directly with clients and vendors and the collection of business and system requirements Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Proficient as Interactive developer in HTML/CSS, XML, AJAX, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Java, CGI, Perl and MySQL database procedures. Experience with WordPress, ExpressionEngine content management systems Experience developing e-commerce websites in the LAMP environment strongly desired. Understanding of e-commerce and SEO best practice Ability to communicate project goals and strategies to clients Detail oriented while still retaining focus on big picture Demonstrated experience of delivering on commitments to clients. Works well in fast-paced growing environment and demonstrates ability to adapt to new technologies and trends. Experience with mobile development on iPhone, iPad, or Android platforms a plus.
