We’re looking for someone who is super-reliable and who will care about our customers and our business as much as we do. You’ll need to work U.S. Central time hours. Here are some job requirements . . . 1) Must be fluent in HTML/CSS & PHP - Custom API Calls, PHP Frameworks (CodeIgniter), MySQL / phpmyadmin Administration, Javascript, jQuery and/or Ajax (optional), basic knowledge of Linux-based commands for Dedicated Servers. 2) Must be fluent in Wordpress - creating custom functions, converting PSD to Wordpress, creating custom plugins, working with external APIs 3) Can handle administration tasks like managing our dedicated server on Hostgator 4) Must be willing to communicate via voice over Skype on daily-basis 5) Must have a strong understanding of coding semantics and code optimization. Ability to write clean, optimized and commented code (HTML/CSS, PHP) 6) Needs to have knowledge of basic Linux commands for administration of dedicated server(s) 7) Can work individually or with a team and can organize his time accordingly. Must be a hard worker and very dedicated because we are looking for this to be a long-term position. 8) Willing to work and learn new technologies (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Wordpress Frameworks), and developing custom-made IT solutions for internal company use 9) Must enjoy researching solutions for implementation in Wordpress Core. 10) Must enjoy learning new software programs and applications that s/he has never been exposed to before. 11) Must not mind doing more "mundane" tasks like posting new blog posts, etc. Please let us know if you have any questions.
