Specific duties include cell culture, setting up and executing beta-arrestin assay, testing of PBEB5 compounds, setting up and executing the following assays: cAMP assay, Western blot, ELISA, immunostaining, receptor binding. Analyze results and enter into the database. Requirements B.S. degree in biological science or a related discipline required. 2-3 years of experience in culturing mammalian cells and working with cell-based assays. Strong experience in commonly used assays for GPCR research including receptor binding, GTPγS, cAMP, beta-arrestin and ERK phosphorylation is desirable. Experience in immune assays (Western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunostaining) and in using liquid handling instruments is a plus.
