Adwords specialist - campaign set-up and on-going management.
We design, print and sell T-shirts. We specialise in music inspired T-shirts, although there are also some movie, TV, sport and culture designs. Our T-shirts are unique to us and we sell to dedicated music fans, so it would be a significant advantage if you have an understanding of rock music We currently have an under-performing Google Adwords campaign that yields less than 10% of what is generated by our Facebook advertising - we need someone to bring our Adwords to life that they generate sales at the same level. We currently spend in excess of #1000 (?1200/US#1500) a month on Facebook and would be delighted to match or even exceed that spend (providing it has as good or better results). So if the spend can be justified with results there will be no limit on what can be spent. We would also like to look at Bing, although obviously Google is the priority. We have a lot of customers that are not native English speakers - Germany is the largest of these, although Netherlands, Scandinavia, France and Spain are also important. Therefore we would be happy to split this role by language. So you may wish to bid to run our adwords for a specific country or region. Our experience of hiring suppliers has shown us that an individual is more likely to be right for us rather than a company - so far individual designers, developers, architects and marketers have all proven to be more accountable, reliable, knowledgeable, responsive and better value - although if you are a company, then you could prove us wrong. However, we have no interest in a sales pitch, simply in your results. We have spoken to a number of "specialist" companies that all made bold claims, yet none of them were prepared to back it up with their fees. All of them said that they were paid on results, yet in fact they were doing no more than taxing our spend. We therefore want to structure this project in two parts: The first will be a set project see for the tidying up of the existing campaign and the set-up of the new revised programme. The second part will be for the on-going maintenance of the campaign. This will be on an agreed management fee based on time spent on administration and on results. The budget shown is for the initial set-up of the programme, the on-going work will be discussed and agreed in principle at the outset and confirmed once the initial set-up has been completed. It is NOT because we are spending too much and they are not converting. It is because so far we have been very targeted to specific T-shirts with very specific keywords focused almost entirely on the Google search rather than the network. Our problem has been expanding those keywords and not exploiting the adsense network. Following our success on Facebook we feel that the targeting of the network could be the way to go, but obviously it is YOUR expert experience that counts. ------------------------------------------ Added 5 FEB 2012, 2:06 AM EST Just noticed that I wrote that we spend #1000 a month on Facebook.
