New Spring/JSF project needs a front end Developer to code front end.
This is a test project... We already have the code base, we are going to have you make a few changes to the code and add some fixes before having putting you on some serious projects: We actually want to use JSF/Jquery, but this our only page partially developed (out of many) we started out using Spring MVC/Dojo. We will switch soon from Spring MVC to JSF/Primefaces. 1) Fix view after uploading a picture. It should show the URL of the picture as soon as it is loaded. I have it right now so it pops up with an alert in the code area showing that it is getting back a whole page and not just a JSON... I tested my json directly and it works... somwhere in the javascript it is messing it up. 2) Edit a category.... I have it working to edit a category name... and it calls my /createCategoryFromJson , but now I need the ability to edit the name inline and call /updateCategoryFromJson. 3) Published/unpublished link - This needs to just update the field, send it back to the /updateCategoryFromJson and when you get back a positive non-error result, then refresh the enitre screen 4) fix link Add sub-category - this is the same as the New Category, it calls the same json, but it should do it inside the current one category visually. 5) Fix up Inventory CSS to look pretty. - We have the the way it looks right now, very grey, a set of Wireframes and a sample design so you can get the color scheme. We want you to fix up the CSS/code to look more like the sample in the design doc 6) Edit an Inventory Item - the edit button needs to set the item back to edit mode so the picture, title, description can be edited again. it will call the same updateJson. Resources: a) you can see the current site that needs the fixes here /InventoryApp/resources b) a Wireframe as reference c) a design doc as reference Desired Skills: CSS, JSP, jQuery, HTML5, spring Keywords: Web Programming, JSP, CSS, jQuery, HTML5, spring
