Create a prototype service that authenticattes over XMPP using an X.509 certificate that points to a FOAF file containing your public key (using FOAF+SSL). http://esw.w3.org/topic/foaf+ssl The prototype should be open source, and demonstrate how to set up an XMPP server, that allows a remote client connection from an XMPP client, and how to install an X.509 certificate in your client.
