Looking for Autocad 2011 for Mac tutor!!
Hi, I'm a cabinetmaker and furniture maker in Brooklyn, NY looking for someone, perhaps a young out of work or recent architect grad to teach me AutoCad. I am basically good with computers- I have a pretty decent knowledge of Sketchup which I use currently for design work, so I don't think I will be that difficult to teach. I used to edit video in Final Cut Pro and I've dabbled in after effects. I'm definitely teachable. Lately I've been needing to provide more shop drawings and I would like to learn the software rather than send this stuff out of the shop to be done. I'm very laid back, I promise you this would not be a stressful gig. I'm looking for someone who would be willing to come to my office (in my shop) and teach me on the Imac I have there (Autodesk Autocad 2011 for Mac already installed) I really know nothing about it at this point so I'm hoping to learn the framework of it and be able to generate architectural drawings for cabinetry and furniture by the time we're finished- however long that takes. I'm imagining we could meet once a week for two hours or so for maybe 8 weeks until I have a handle on it. Of course, if it takes longer I will be happy to keep going. You must be willing to travel to Williamsburg (L-train to Grand St. and a 10 minute walk) I can pick you up at the train if it's a dealbreaker. Looking forward to your responses. Thanks, Zach
