Job Description Job Description You’re very good at getting things done and you’ve either ran a busy & demanding office/ department in the past or know you can. You always meet deadlines without needing to be asked twice and in control under pressure. You are a productive person that loves to get results and loves to help other people get results. You know, that in spite of any obstacle or anyone else’s opinion you can get things done that add value to the business. There will be a lot of learning in this role so you need to pick things up and adapt quickly so that you can take on more responsibilities and take the load off the Management Team to save them more time. This is a new role in the company with a key focus to create more time for the Senior Management Team so they can focus on business development and expansion. Imagine a million loose ends that you have to follow up, track, organise to assure completion. Your role will include; Personal assistant to the General Manager to create more time for him. You will work with the directors of the business to create policy and procedure to take what they have been doing themselves and putting it into a form where other staff can learn how to get the best results from their work. You will have independence and control in your position, as you can work from home. You need to show that you are able to work alone and still get things done and achieve good results. You need to be very good at controlling your time and also ensuring that the GM is aware of pressing tasks. Although the GM is your “boss” it is up to you to ensure that projects and task are completed on time and that you keep the GM aware of any delays.
