Professional and Experienced Virtual Assistant / O-Desk Manager *Adult Content Related*
Job Description We are looking for an experienced project manager to assist with posting ads on O-desk, interviewing, hiring, and project tracking. You must have experience with dropbox and Trello for project tracking. Knowledge of WordPress, Internet Marketing and HTML is a big plus. Duties will include: 1) Posting jobs, screening and hiring contractors, including researchers, photo editors, copywriters, design professionals, etc. Please see our other job postings as examples. 2) Managing contractors via Trello, assigning project milestones and checking all work. You will need to hold the contractors accountable for quality of work and for deadlines. 3) Tracking projects, answering questions from contractors and following directions. You must have great initiative and a clear ability to organize. You will be our go between for the contractors. 4) Assigning photos to the photo editors, checking the quality of their work. 5) Writing product descriptions and verifying work done in our shopping cart program. *This project has the potential to grow into a significant long term role for the right candidate.* Contractor requirements include: 1. Highly motivated, assertive, and even aggressive. We really do need a self-starter, someone who is not afraid to manage processes on his or her own, and does not wait to be asked for each individual task. 2. Extremely focused; fast turnaround. Hourly expectations will be determined in advance, so as to avoid surprises everyone. We have little patience for those contractors who bill multiple employers simultaneously for “multitasking” on different projects half-heartedly. 3. HTML and webdesign experience a plus. 4. Experience working with remote contractors. 5. Ability to follow written directions closely, with quick and efficient decision-making abilities 6. A US-based contractor is not required, but ADVANCED US English language and PERFECT grammar skills are an absolute must. Managing our writers will require article proofreading with exceptional attention to detail, so you must be able to quickly and naturally recognize errors.
