Social Media / Brand Reputation Manager, SMM
The position guides, develops and manages communities of interest that attract and encourage conversation about our brand, a new up and coming senior care site that needs "buzz" creation. The site is a free resource for people to find living solutions for their loved ones. Core market includes baby boomers, senior citizens, and healthcare professionals working in a multi-channel environment and whom encourage open feedback and participation across all these groups. Qualified candidates must have a dynamic personality, great conversational skills, a strong background in community development, and heavy experience in social media marketing. and blogging. This person will manage all daily aspects of community engagement on our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN, YouTube), as well as all other sites on the web where conversations are happening relative to our brand and topics of interest. The candidate will help create our brand as an authority in the senior living space. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: � Engages in conversation as the official voice of LivingSenior wherever possible � Creates and owns the conversation with our core target audience, as well as tier 1 healthcare and senior blogs. � Listens and monitors the conversations using a social media analytical tools � Routes topics and content to internal and external social media engagers and influencers for engagement in the channels when appropriate � Interacts with our communities and manages our social media channels to ensure we are meeting our business goals . Required Experience � 5+ years Marketing, Digital or Social Media experience. � Preference for working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, start-up type environment. � A self-starter with the willingness, and desire, to "roll up your sleeves" and get the job done. � Proven history of developing new, sustainable processes. � Strong interpersonal skills � Comfortable creating and presenting content to management and potential clients � Overwhelming passion for today's social networking and collaboration technologies. � Experience building online interaction among members of a large-scale community. � Strong analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns � Experience with, and passion for, creating and consuming new content types: websites, blogs, podcasts, wikis, etc. and distribution of same to community. � Specific experience identifying and utilizing appropriate content streams: transcripts, articles, surveys, web seminars, podcasts, wikis, blogs, etc. If you have the ability to get our site/articles into major news sites, press releases, Google News, Yahoo News, and other web news authorities, please provide details on this in your application. This is a contract job, so benefits are not available. Candidate will work remotely. Pay is not fully established yet, but it will be on an hourly basis. PLEASE INCLUDE DESIRED COMPENSATION.
