Job Description We are looking for an Internet Marketer and Online Community Manager to join our team. This is a full time (40 hours per week) position, no part-timers or contractors please. We are developing a network of RateMy___________.com sites, in which 13 year old site– RateMyFace.com will be the flagship site, but we will be developing several other ratings sites in a variety of niches from ratemysenator.com to ratemypoem.com to ratemybar.com — in this job these websites would become your “babies”– you would be responsible for creating a marketing plan for the sites, building traffic, and developing the community. Some ideas for building traffic would be: writing and sending out press releases, leveraging the user base of RateMyFace.com and other existing sites in the network in order to promote these newly launched sites, updating adding to the facebook pages for the sites, posting to the senator’s and bar’s facebook pages publishing their rating from our site on their wall, doing twitter @somelocalbar or @somesenator mentions in order to get noticed and get publicity for the site. As community manager you will be responsible for checking emails, answering questions, etc. about the site. The goal to start is for each of these sites to make at least $10 a day on average with Google Adsense, CPA type ads like Peerfly.com, or by using a combination of other advertising networks. This should be easy to achieve if you are good at what you do. This job may also require some data entry as some of these sites (like ratemyrestaurant.com for example) with require a lot of data to be entered first in order to launch, while others will require little to no data entry (like ratemypoem.com, since it is user generated content.) A successful candidate would have the following skills: * Can work full-time (40 hours per week) * Speaks and reads and writes English well. * Can handle multiple projects at the same time. * Should be a team player, approachable, can communicate well and give ideas to the team. * Can use Skype. * Is willing to learn new things. Can easily be trained other skills. * Deadline Oriented! * Help develop websites using SEO expertise * Keyword research * Niche Market analysis * Is comfortable with a wide range of content- adult sites, religious material, adoption, fertility clinics, etc. * On-page SEO optimization * Video Marketing * Facebook/twitter/social media marketing * Has their own computer and reliable highspeed Internet connection and electricity. * Can work from home without distractions.
