Senior LINUX Technical Administrator, Contract 3 months, Netherlands Senior LINUX Technical Administrator Amoria Bond is currently recruiting for a Senior Linux Technical Administrator. The position is on a contract basis for a period of 3 months. Our client has a large mixed infrastructure of Windows and Linux based systems and the roles would involve supporting the operations of LINUX system, including desktop and server systems. The emphasis will be on ensuring the high availability and performance of their systems. In order to be considered for the IT Systems Administrator position you need to demonstrate: *Knowledge of LINUX and Windows infrastructure. *HBO *Technical application management of complex Solaris and Linux environments *Monitor, support and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure for operating issues involving failures, degradation and event correlation using various software and hardware monitoring tools. Includes; complex and high priority issues. *Extensive experience with management tools. *Knowledge of popular open-source software like BIND / DNS, git, openssh, OpenLDAP, cfengine. *Experience with Sun and Intel based hardware. *Ability to solve technical problems, quickly and effectively. *Background of working in a vibrant, critical systems environment. I can only accept candidates that hold valid passports to work in the Netherlands. Also, the most suitable candidates will have previous experience working in the Netherlands and be willing to work via the Dutch payroll system due to contract duration.
