Due to expansion the successful MS SQL Server & Business Objects Analyst Developer will be joining a team of highly motivated professionals who take pride in the quality of their output and this will be expected to be continued. ROLE Work with Project Manager, Development Manager, Business Analysts, Java Developers, End Users, System level DBAs, Sys Admins and QA teams when appropriate A key responsibility of this role is aiding data mining and responding to frequent regulator requests for historical production data. Currently the role is predominantly Equities but over time - as the Derivatives market grows this will change. SKILLS Experienced in application level MS SQL support and development (T-SQL, SSIS) with strong experience of MS SQL Server in the context of Equities (and ideally also Derivatives) trading. 12+ months experience of SAP Business Objects R3 or a similar BI reporting system. Experience in design, development and maintenance of MS SQL Server and Business Objects solutions and reports used in the Back Office processing Experience of 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support of MS SQL Server and Business Objects (or similar) platforms and services Experience of administrating SQL Server Architecture and Business Objects (or similar) for all environments in the SDLC Working in an Agile Environment As a MS SQL Server & Business Objects Analyst Developer you will be offered an initial 3 month contract with a view to a long term engagement.
