Seeking an educator / teacher that has extensive understanding of K ? 5th grade students, curriculum development experience and a passion for sharing the message of financial literacy. Project: We are updating our K- 2nd Grand and 3rd ? 5th Grade financial literacy curriculum as a part of a financial literacy promotion in and will serve over 1000 community based nonprofit organizations globally. Here is what the job entails: Curriculum & Student guide development: K-2nd Grade ? 8 hours total coursework length. We are providing approximately 4 hours that need refinement and need development of an additional 4 hours of coursework. 3rd ? 5th Grade ? 12 hours total coursework length. We are providing approximately 8 hours that need refinement and need development of an additional 4 hours of coursework. Both options will have a student workbook piece. We want this highly visual with pictures ? however you are NOT responsible for adding the pictures. You would simply let us know what pictures should go in places. For instance, you would tell us ? "Picture of toy goes here" Timing and workflow: Looking to have this project complete my March 10th. We would forward the material for your review and have an initial appointment where we layout our vision and get your thoughts. From there you would work on the K-2nd first and we would provide feedback as it is developed. Qualifications: Do you have a true passion for financial literacy? Do you have extensive curriculum development experience and able to design curriculum with our motto in mind: Motivate, Educate, Engage and Move students to take positive action. Does your idea of quality curriculum include creative activities, discussions, interaction, games and group work? Are you comfortable and able to integrate and modifying our current curriculum to work within this new curriculum? Do you use common sense, and are you used to working independently while respecting and following instructions and overall vision and goals? Then you might be the right person to work with the National Financial Educators Council.
