We have just acquired a website that has already been on the internet for about 6 months. Currently we are getting a high bounce rate and our average time on site is only about 60 seconds. We have a good website with good popular and original content but it's not getting people reading more of our articles or clicking on advertising banners. Below are the last 7 days stats off google analytics. 462 Visits 439 Unique Visitors 782 Pageviews 1.69 Pages/Visit 00:01:04 Avg. Time on Site 78.35% Bounce Rate 92.86% % New Visits We also have setup social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. We also want a better wordpress template that will be responsive and work on ipads and iphones, but also want an email sign up form so we can start building an email list. Themeforest.net has good responsive templates for wordpress but we want someone to find out the best possible way to make a site like ours work the best, so we want the right template or site design. Our first priority is traffic though, the template comes second. We would like our existing articles to be promoted on relevant blogs and forums out there, however, we don't want silly blog comments that have no meaning or value as we see these often and they are annoying.
