Hi, I am inquiring about historical tax credits on an old historical building. I heard New York State offers a tax-credit program where you can get actual tax credits deducted from what you owe in tax. The program is supposed to give you 40% in tax credits I own a building that is deemed historic in downtown Binghamton, NY. We are looking to get a loan to fix it up, and would like to do so in a way where we save a bunch of money through the tax credits.
