Spherical Atonomous Vehicle (Toy) - Mechanical Engineering
The project will be in similar nature to this following video: /watch?v=pF0uLnMoQZA The vehicle will be designed as a device that will be close to the user and will hover in place. Will also have GPS, Bluetooth, USB, and Face Recognition (all these being handled by a separate team). All work shall have supporting calculations along with design documentation to support said calculations. The scope is to include the following: 1. Electrical battery powered spherical vehicle 2. 3-6 Gyro sensors 3. Able to be associated with Transmitter/Receiver 4. Possible radio controlled 5. Able to move as in attached video (exactly) Directions x,y,z and be able to maintain altitude regardless of obstructions 6. Max 4" dia. size 7. Payload to house a Lithium battery, electronics, servos and/or micro controllers 8. Light weight frame with durable and almost indestructible air frame. 9. Brushless high speed electric motor 10. Micro camera 10. All necessary radio controlled devices for a functional device that will emulate the attached video concept.
