Job Description Position – TuneUp Specialist Location: Internet Duration: on call Pay: $10 per TuneUp Provides Remote TuneUp Services to clients for a flat fee. Services include: 1. Memory assessment 2. Cleanup of Temp and Cached files 3. Scan for Virus, Spyware, and Trojans 4. Update OS 5. Cleanup of Startup items 6. Cleanup of “garbageware”, “trialware”, and other useless programs 7. Recommendations for a long computer life, including answering the question, is it worth putting time and money into?, cost effective system improvements, and antivirus solutions Under minimal supervision, performs complex tasks associated with Remote Login and System Assessment. Responsibilities include consulting with users and developing needs assessments for complex systems hardware and software needs and sourcing. Analyzes systems issues and provides first tier technical support to end users on complex issues regarding basic computer operations and networks, installation, setups, error messages, on-line transactions, system status, and downtime procedures, etc. This job can be done from home or office, Internet Cafe, library, or anywhere a reliable Internet connection is available. Experience working with Windows client in home and office environments • Good written and oral communication in ENGLISH Desired Skills • Intermediate technical skills in these areas: o LAN/WAN o Hardware/Software o TCP/IP o E-Mail protocols o Remote Login software support Must Have 2 Years of In-depth Knowledge With: • PCs and peripherals in a LAN/WAN Windows environment • Excellent Customer Service background • Excellent English speaking abilities • Experience with assisting customers over the telephone • Good to excellent Computer skills • Help Desk, Troubleshooting, Tech I, and Tech II experience Please put "TuneUp Spec" as the first line of your response.
