System Administrator - Linux - London
My client based in South East London is seeking a System Administrator contractor to provide key skills around the maintenance and support of online systems. The ideal candidate will be excellent at understanding optimization of online systems. They require strong knowledge and exposure to application servers (Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic) and web servers (HTTPD). The ability to resolve problems with these systems using Unix, taking vague business requirements and working with others to define these pieces of development work. Technical skills required for this role are, LINUX system admin, integrating systems and applications, web servers (apache, HTTPD), Apache Tomcat, load testing tools, Java, Hibernate, Windows (Unix/LINUX environment), SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, XML, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud.
