Front End Developer - HTML, CSS, JQuery & JavaScript Our client, a well respected Manchester based creative agency are in the market for a full-time Senior Digital Developer with well-rounded front-end web capabilities. You will be responsible for creating or editing HTML/CSS templates to be used by technical staff to create dynamic websites, design and generate front-end code to display consistently across a myriad of browser/platform combinations, read and understand both requirements (use cases) and architecture documents (UML), Develop detailed designs consistent with object-oriented principles and accurately estimate work effort and complete assignments on schedule. Essential Requirements: Required core technologies - HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS Expert proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) including experience building out "tableless" designs using CSS only Experience working with extended teams - graphic designers, information architects, and developers Proficient in Photoshop (graphic optimization, etc.) Sufficient knowledge of Active Server Pages (ASP) and other server-side scripting languages Beneficial Requirements: Microsoft .Net front-end design and implementation is a plus Capability of speaking with both technical and non-technical personnel on equal terms. Willingness to learn our business or come from a related business background This is a 6month contract with likely extensions and good rates of pay.
