Project - Mindspark explanations ? Mindspark is a computer based self-learning programme that helps the child improve her skills in Maths. The child learns by answering questions of progressively increasing complexity levels. ? Each question is usually given an explanation so that when the child submits the answer, she gets to see the explanation for the correct answer. Through explanations we try to explain the concept behind the question as also explain the steps to arrive at the correct answer. In some cases, the explanation may have additional information to excite the child. ? The project involves writing/developing explanations for questions which don't already have an explanation. Another part is to improve the existing explanations based on the provided guidelines. If interested we could extend this to creating new challenging questions in Maths for different grade levels.
