Finite Element Analysis - Civil Engineering
The task is to create a small application that can solve a simple deformation of a spring steel through a series of points. Given a number of supports in which the spring steel is vertically constrained, we want to model the bending of the spring steel between these supports. The supports are vertiacally extendable and we assume that the spring steel can move horizontally and that the effect of friction is insignificant. The application should preferably be coded in C# using the Math.Net library however a MatLab model will suffice. For more information see attachment.
