1. Functional description of application The Drop b ox application for Mac OSX Lion does not integrate encryption software within the program, unlike the W indows version Boxcryptor. This means that there is a lack of security that gives third parties the ability to easily hack one ’ s shared files. Therefor e, we need specific Dropbox application that can encrypt and decrypt shared files within one program for the Mac OSX lion.
