Hi there, I have already posted this job on Feb 2nd but following some queries from contractors regarding the lack of information, I have decided to repost it in order to give those who needed more details in order t cost it. What I Need Done: I've developed a concept for an app for iPhone and Android phones. It is a pretty simple concept based on your usual pedometer/fitness but with a twist. I have designed all the screens 1) Real time speed, time, pace, calories page (call it fitness page) 2) An interactive map based on google map 3) A stats page 4) A settings page The app uses inbuilt functionality of iphone and android phones in order to determine the data for the fitness page. The app does not need any database, but I might add a share function. Who I need: I need a superstar in the making simple as that. Someone who moves fast and break things! My marketing department has already scored me wide coverage on national media (prime time television and national magazines). The aim is to become featured on iTunes hot list. So this could be not only a source of income for you but also something for your portfolio. Although the application is very simple, I definitely want to work with someone who has excellent iPhone and Android application development experience. I am happy to work with people with less experience should they show me they have "attributes". If I find a developer whom I work well with, I have other projects coming over the next 3-6 months. I would like to see samples of your work Specific Expertise that I am Seeking: iPhone and Android application development experience is key. Great communication skills and a self starter are also critical. I would like to deal with someone who can challenge my design with their own ideas. Fitness/pedometer experience is a plus. What I Will Provide: The screen designs are pretty much complete, as well as the icon. I'm currently working on the loading page. I will provide all designs, content, and images as well as full project management. I might occasionally ask your opinion on functionality and other stuff. Development Process: I would like to complete a simple click-thru first for usability testing (done by me). Based on the test results, I may tweak the layouts and functionality before full designs are applied. Please note that usability testing has already been done on the paper designs. But it would be great to do some testing on the simulators before going fully functional. Also bear in mind that although I'm a designer, I've done quite a bit of coding as well so am familiar with your role. Timeframe for Delivery: I would like to have this up and running in 4 weeks. Have it on iTunes and on the Android Market in 6 weeks. The simple click-thru would be ready for testing in 2-3 weeks with finishing touches done shortly after that. The budget is between $1,000 and $1,500 depending on how much involvement you are offering. Please refrain from applying if you cannot deliver a hot application within that budget.
