I'm working on an Apache CXF project to produce and consume SOAP based web services. I need two things. One is to add logging and error handling on a demo Apache CXF Spring Tomcat based Maven project. For this, I would like to have a Spring configuration based solution so as to make life easier. The logging would log everything possible, that is, all SOAP requests, their XML files for example, etc.. The error handling would handle potential errors and act as a tutorial on which I would later on build my real life error handlers. Another one is to create another such Apache CXF based project based on a wsdl url I've been given. I would like to know how to generate the client code to consume this web service. I did a maven project that builds fine, but it generates nothing at all. Finally, your solution should not only work and build under maven, but it should above all act as a tutorial for me to jump start my take on this project ! This is a simple project for a good SOAP Java guy. I expect simple and mainstream solutions.
