Salesforce CRM Developer The client is the market leader in their field. The company is an independent enterprise supplying state-of-the-art products and services to the world's leading financial institutions. All of the products and services are based on a robust, high-tech Software platform, powering any type of application requiring data and related information. The ICT Operations and Development teams are located in London and Amsterdam. Meeting the most stringent performance standards in throughput, speed and reliability, the development team supports multiple high-availability applications for professionals in corporate institutions around the globe. Position: The development, enhancement, optimization and support of a highly customized Salesforce application, working closely with business analysts and end users to design, develop and test technical solutions to prioritsed business requirements. The role will focus on the web development and Visualforce parts of Salesforce. Duties: Apex/Visualforce Development - Batch Apex, Future Methods, Triggers, Scheduled Jobs, Callouts, WSDL2Apex Web development - JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS Code Base Management using Eclipse and Subversion Troubleshooting/Debugging Apex Code Open technology standards - XML, SOAP, XSLT Java/J2EE OpenSSO/LDAP - SalesForce.com configuration Support of Member Management solution using Salesforce.com Understand Integration using Salesforce API (inbound and outbound) Understand relationship between SalesForce and bespoke applications - SSO, Oracle DB, Weblogic Portal Monitor SalesForce.com failures from Apex code Monitor webservice callouts and maintain data synchronisation across integrated platforms. Monitor API usage and other SalesForce.com limits Requirements: Advanced Salesforce.com Apex/Visualforce development experience is required. Experience in Salesforce.com App Exchange tools and Eloqua would be a strong advantage Project management experience would be an advantage Contract: This role can be fullfilled on a Permanent or Long-term Contract basis.
