We need a software testing/QA person to test our online software. Specifically the project involves: 1. Creating a list of "test scenarios" that cover all aspects of the software 2. Manually going through each of the scenarios and reporting all the bugs encountered. If we are satisfied with the outcome of this one-time project, we will start an ongoing project to update and maintain the scenarios as our software evolves, and going through the QA test cycle with each new build of the software. The goal is to create a virtual QA team. Most of the testing can be done on a desktop/laptop running Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox. (It will be nice to have all 3 browsers available). It can also be done on a Mac running Safari. Since our software is geared towards making mobile apps, having an iPhone, iPad or Android-based smartphone will be a plus. You will be required to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement if you are the successful bidder. Since we do not know how many test scenarios will be needed, we are asking for an hourly rate. The rate, along with the prior QA/testing experience of the bidders will enable us to select one. We will then provide much more details and come up with fixed-price projects for developing the scenarios and running the scenarios. Ultimately we will like the scenarios to be automated.
