We have a project where we need some estimated data. Specifically, we are looking for someone to provide the following information: 1. Use Segmentation: estimated worldwide install base of diesel engines segmented broadly by use (e.g. marine, aircraft, heavy equipment, trucking, power generation, etc.) 2. Geographic Segmentation: estimated number of diesel engines worldwide segmented by geography (e.g. continent) 3. Use & Geography Segmentation: estimated number of diesel engines worldwide segmented by geography and use (e.g. number of diesel engines used in N. America for marine uses) 4. Racor Diesel Fuel Filter Install Base: estimated current install base of Racor diesel fuel filter models 500, 900 and 1000 We are not looking for a lot of 'packaging' of this information. We simply are looking for someone who can provide reasonable estimates in response to the four questions above. The logic and sources of information used to arrive at the estimates are also required. We are on tight deadlines and need someone that can turn this around quickly. ------------------------------------------ Added 4 FEB 2012, 9:58 AM EST Once install base has been identified by use and geography, we would like a rough estimate of projected annual growth rates for the same (e.g. the growth rate of the install base of heavy equipment is probably higher in Asia than in N.
