Application Security Architect - Security Analyst
Title: Application Security Architect Location: Connecticut Pay rate: Competitive. Multiple openings: long term contract/FTE Clearance: No clearance required Job Description: Our client is developing a new tech platform for ingesting, QC, warehousing and making searchable the many hundreds of millions of data series and other information we leverage in our investment engine. The scope includes both unclassified and classified information, will in some cases include unstructured data in addition to time series, and will extend our data model to include new types of metadata and usage metrics that will have their own security questions to consider. We're deploying this platform into an environment that is seriously lacking from a security perspective. We'll be using multiple external parties to deliver us both custom and COTS components that we'll integrate with our own code. We also plan on standing up the first AAA (Authorization, Audit, and Authentication) solution at XX to manage access to all of this. So we're looking for a security architect who can look at all the system components, ask good questions to get clarification on our security objectives and policy, and lay out how the pieces should be connected and segmented on multiple layers, from network/system design to application architecture to conceptual data architecture. We will also need AAA (Authorization, Audit, and Authentication) SME to select and stand up that platform component, and expertise in overseeing or performing code review. Desired Skills: Security Analyst, Security Engineer Keywords: Networking & Security, Engineer, Security, Analyst
