mechanical prototype design develop build - Electrical Engineering
I am looking to motorise a pin art display i am looking to be able to move all the pins up and down to heights aof 0 mm and 100mm and and 1mm incriment inbetween. there are one hundred pins to be moved each a diameter of 1 cm Instead of pins i would like to use a hollow plastic rod with a screw inside by turning the screw inside the rod can rise and fall (like a car Ariel) Ideally the rods would be closely packed The winner will have to be not too expensive as i wish for a longterm relationship. I would like a lot of this items to be made as i wish to make a larger unit please quote for labour only all parts and materials will be extra Please note i will not be using pre bought actuators as the cost 45-80 dollars each and make this project to expensive. I have a cheaper but more difficult solution.
