I need help from a Los Angeles-area web designer who is extremely knowledgeable about Wordpress. We had a designer (friend-of-a-friend) put together a Wordpress template for us almost 2 years ago. It looks decent but we are having some back-end problems right now and are not really clear about the technical side of the template, GoDaddy and being able to upgrade the Wordpress version (now 3.0, could go up to 3.3.3). So my small job for now is to ask for competent assistance in backing up the site and upgrading Wordpress, then troubleshooting some of the problems we're having if they recur. I am just afraid to do it myself and wipe something out. As I mentioned our accounts are hosted on GoDaddy. From there, later, down the road, there may be other design work. I know there are a number of tweaks we might like to make to the look and feel of the template, various other things, and I am hoping the designer we hire will work within the existing custom template. We are in the LA area which is a main reason I want a local designer, just in case a meeting would make sense along the way to chart out options. Thanks!
