Our company exists to create an internet-based sales channel for businesses while providing tools and services to help these businesses increase sales through this channel. We are looking for an experienced PHP developer with web design experience preferably, but not essentially, based in London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and efficiency in PHP development as well as a good understanding of HTML and CSS3. Some knowledge of JavaScript is a bonus with form validation however, we are trying to eliminate as much JavaScript as possible. Job Description: We are creating a 'lightweight' and efficient e-commerce platform with PHP and MySQL. Our next challenge is to integrate with two APIs, an e-commerce payment gateway and a GPRS printer API. All documentation is provided. Your responsibilities: - Review business requirements working with other team members - Work with payment gateway providers to ensure quality of implementation - Establish secure server environment - Perform a technical analysis of requirements - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired - Ensure platform is secure from SQL injections etc. - Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use Your qualifications: - Programming language(s): PHP, Ecommerce, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - Strong communication skills - References or an established reputation Ongoing work a possibility dependant on outcome.
