CSS and graphics for Jobs board (Based on Salesforce Sites)
The following is a brief CSS / images exercise that has to do with branding a jobs board. The company's website is activas.co.uk (based on joomla - please see it) Our current jobs board is proactive.force.com/jobsboard (Based on Salesforce sites - please see it) The new jobs board (the one you will be working on) jobs.activas.co.uk (Based on Salesforce sites - please see it). [the two jobs boards are using the same code, the jobs.activas.co.uk one is an example of how CSS change the look and feel of the board] I require CSS and HTML code that will make our jobs board similar (but not identical) to our Joomla website. I will provide the logo, but you WILL NEED to tweak it using freehand or a similar program. Work environment: To those who have not worked on a Salesforce environment, you type the HTML code into a certain control. The CSS / images can be hosted anywhere (for test purposes) and finally will be sent to me (for final hosting). Technically there is nothing special to be learned. the site's code is completely hidden withing server site HTML tags (see the Default code attachment), so you have the joy of dealing solely with the design. To make specific text look differently, you will need to figure out it's class or ID using something like chrome's Inspect element. The class of the text is given, the CSS must accommodate it. You have a free reign with the design. We generally want the board to be friendly (the current board has very small text) and to carry our brand. How I will choose a provider: 1. After you apply for a position please send me your phone in a private message (so as not to violate Elance's rules, which forbid sending a phone with the offer text). I will not hire a person whom I can not first contact on the phone. 2. Please DO NOT apply if you can't speak fluent English comfortably. 3. Please give ONLY two or three relevant examples of CSS &styling work you have done (which are live on line, not images of sites that no longer exist). 4. You can be contacted at least during part of the work day (London Time). 5. If you have salesforce experience, this is a bonus. 6. I want the website to be up and running on Jan 7th. Hours: I consider it a two-hour job, so I'm giving you four. This should allow you time for trial&error. I'm not looking for cheap work. I will hire a person that seems competent to do the job. I'm generally aiming for an $50-$100. Attachment1 - "Default code.txt" (contains all of the server side code, this is later replaced with the actual HTML, which is hidden from me and from you) Attachment2 - "pro-active-jb-template.html" (THIS CODE DOES NOT WORK but it gives you an idea of how the current code can be wrapped to make it look like our current branding) Attachment3 - "csssite.zip" is a sample CSS / image which currently resides behind jobs.activas.co.uk Desired Skills: CSS, Computer Graphics Keywords: Website Design, Graphic, CSS, Computer
