Our client is seeking a Clinical Analyst / Implementation Consultant for an Operating Room Scheduling Office System (ORSOS) which runs on the Per-Se Technologies rules-based software environment residing on a Microsoft Windows platform. This includes acting as a liaison to other hospital departments such as: HIS, Finance, Materials Management, Admitting, infection Control, and Risk Management. This position is located in Los Angeles, California. Main Duties: Strive to maximize the use of the system and ensures that the clinical needs of users are met Develop Crystal Reports and SQL Reports for Clinical Staff Work with Surgical staff, IT and vendors to define project scope, development and maintenance of a project plan, track issues and resolutions, create a risk assessment strategy and manage and control the execution of the project plan Communicate with the Project Stakeholders and insure that established project milestones and deliverables are met Manage the operational integrity of the ORSOS application and that service level requirements are met in terms of system availability and response time The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 5 years of experience of clinical analysis / project implementation experience Must have strong Crystal Reports experience SQL programming is a plus 3 years of which must have been in managing the implementation of medical or healthcare-related software applications; and working with Microsoft tools including MS Project, Excel, Word, and Access as well as Crystal Reports Prefer operating room (OR) application experience 2 years of experience with IT systems applications including Oracle Database applications and analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing modifications / upgrades to a large scale (at least 400 beds) Surgical Services Information System experience
