It will also have a unique customer id (sequential numbers) for each person. So we have: customer id and skype id. (a simple submit form for demo purposes). 2. We also need a method to accept this skype ID and customer id from another part of our application (our app is built in php with codeignitor framework) 3. After submitting the skype ID the person is sent an invitation request to connect with "Skype Server" on skype 4. Once they have accepted the connection they are now connected with the Skype server application 5. The skype server will have a method to check a list of customer ids and return the skype status of each id. 6. This needs to be very fast (less than 2 seconds) and able to handle a list of at least 10,000 ids 7.
