Action International Ministries (actioninternational.org) is an evangelical, non-denominational organization. We occasionally print books on theology, doctrine, or Christian living and most of our printing is for free distribution in Latin America. Our current project is to take a Word document and convert it into book format using InDesign. The deadline is to have the file sent to us by February 20th for review. If any of the specifications are not followed we will respond with needed changes. We are available for questions/clarifications at any time throughout the process. The topic of the material is family and marital advice from a Christian perspective. The Word document is entirely in Spanish. It is 93 pages (8.5 x 11") long, containing a Preface and 10 chapters. The InDesign file you will design must incorporate the following characteristics: Page size: 5.5 x 8.5 inches margins: Top: .75 inch Bottom 1.00 inch Inside .875 inch Outside .625 inch paragraph indent is .3125 inches Preferred fonts for paragraphs: AGaramond (11 point) or Times New Roman (11.5 point). Other fonts may be used for chapter titles and subheadings. Page numbers can be centered or located at the outside edge. We do not put the book title or chapter titles at the top of the page. No hyphenation. Justify the text with last line of each paragraph aligned left. Design attractive chapter headings (use a different font in a large point size and include some sort of graphic element or flourish) Chapters can begin on either the left or right page so as to avoid blank pages in-between chapters.
