Position:               QA LEAD/MANAGER Duration:               6-12 M onths (Contract only) Location:               Torrance, CA (on-site only) Rate:                     Market Rate (W2 ONLY) Please Note: -           We will NOT consider any   Corp to Corp, and/or Incorporated/1099 consultants, must be W2 ONLY -           All work will be performed on-site and you must be available for a face to face interview.    Function as liaison/QA Lead, evaluating, identify and analyze quality risks, determine the test approach, determine test project scope, prepare time estimates, facilitate and manage the project testing schedule, prepare and facilitate the implementation of test plans, and manage the outsource testing vendors.   Responsible for Reviewing Project QA artifacts, Creating RFP/RFQ and reviewing vendor responses for Fixed cost testing engagements, guiding and/or managing the testing on various projects, develop and implement QA metrics, processes, tools and documents for QA governance.  This resource is evaluated on his/her ability to interface professionally with project teams, identify and analyze quality risks, determine the test approach, determine test project scope, prepare time estimates, prepare and manage the project testing schedule, prepare and implement test plans, and manage. Knowledge and experience in QA methodology and metrics   Responsibilities include: Identifying and analyzing quality ri sks in data warehouse projects Determining testing scope Preparing, managing time estimates an d fixed bid deliverables (SOW) Reviewing supplier deliverables and pr oviding feedback and direction Assessing Risk to schedule, cost, or quality on project and testing engagement Preparing and managin g the project testing schedule Preparing and facilitating th e implementation of test plans Managing defects Excellent c ommunication (written, verbal) Ability to react to changing project plans and come up with creative alternatives Orga nizational and planning skills Analytical skills Ability to work in a collaborative “team-oriented” environment   Required Skills/EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience leading large QA efforts, supporting both on-shore and off-shore teams. Must have EXCELLENT communication (written, verbal), organizational and planning skills, and ability to work Collaboratively i n a "Team Oriented" environment Experience with implementing and defining QA methodology, metrics , process, tools and documents. Must have e xperience understanding RFP's, project estimates and vendor management Experience with Manual testing and any au tomated testing would be a plus Ability to handle 4-6 projects in v arious stages at the same time Experience managing all phases of the testing life cycle , including performance testing Experience working with all phases of the SDLC, including Master Test plans, coverage metrics, traceability, test case gathering , QC (upload/store information) Experience working with in a multi-applicatiosn environment’ Monitoring a QA team involved in testing ETL and BI systems with multiple data source s Develop of test approaches / strategies for large scale data projects Knowledge / Experience in use of Mercury/HP QTP, Load Runner, Qua lity Center or other QA tools   Environment: Data Warehouse testing, RDBMS, Informatica, Hyperion, Disaster Recovery testing, Security testing, Access Control, Middleware (TIBCO) – understand concept and how to test it, Siebel (used more than SAP), SAP, Rules Engine – understand concept and how to build scenarios around it, Loan origination / loan servicing experience, Knowledge / Experience in use of Mercury/HP QTP, Load Runner, Quality Center or other QA tools   For details/consideration, ATTACHED RESUME by selecting " APPLY ” Thank you, Michell Casey   Partners Consulting Services Mcasey@partnersconsulting.com 800-732-4680 x715   Lets stay connected - LinkedIN - http://www.linkedin.com/pub/0/96a/254
