Job Description I have two online businesses that I'm looking for someone on an ongoing basis to manage our bookkeeping and accounting. I'm an entrepreneur who tries to do everything on my own. I've recently decided to hire someone to be in charge of my accounting and bookkeeping in order to allow me to focus on other things. I always leave it to the last minute for taxes and don't want the headache of scrambling to put everything together anymore. I'd like to know where I'm at financially at any time by going into Quickbooks and printing out reports. This job will involve: 1. Creating two businesses in Quickbooks from the very start. 2. Taking control and using your knowledge to put together an accounting program for each business. 3. Maintaing each businesses' accounting from entering and reconciling bank statements into Quickbooks in order to keep appropriate record for taxes. 4. Helping me organize finances and the best way to use my accounts 5. Entering inventory 6. Entering customer's 7. Entering vendors 8. Anything to do with proper accounting. Initially you will have to spend some time getting the companies in order but once the businesses are created we will have to reevaluate how much time you will need to spend each month. *Anyone who fits this job posting and has graphic design, web design and web programming, marketing and advertising (SEO) background would be extremely helpful and beneficial for you if your looking for more of a steady job. This would then give more ability to use you for other projects when there isn't any accounting needed. We are located in the US so a general knowledge of appropriate accounting standards is very desirable. Understanding taxes and how to appropriately report expenses. Contractor requirements We are looking for a detail-oriented contractor that has previous accounting or bookkeeping experience along with: 1. Strong familiarity with QuickBooks for MAC**** 2. An understanding of finances and good with budgets 3. Expertise in US tax and accounting standards 4.
