E-mail marketing engine development
We have a requirement to develop a bulk-email marketing tool to integrate with an existing ERP/CRM suite. Built in ASP.NET 4.0 webforms, the application needs to: - Integrate with an existing MS SQL database - Allow for the creation of email marketing lists, including import from CSV - Schedule and deliver emails over a period of time through a user-defined email account and server - Periodically check the email response account for failed email addresses and manage the removal of addresses from the email list - Integrate with a multi-tenant environment, where a number of end-clients may be sending their own bulk emails simultaneously - Allow us and end-clients to throttle the rate at which emails are sent per hour.
