Portuguese to English Translation for Fiction Book Proposal
We are attempting to sell a series of published Brazilian books in the U.S. market and require a translator to help us build a solid proposal to show to American publishers. We are seeking NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS ONLY who are fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and preferably have a background in creative writing or fiction translations. (We are not seeking native Portuguese speakers who have studied English.) The proposal to be translated consists of: - 3 Short book synopses (Approx. 1000 words total) - 1 long book synopsis (Approx. 1000 words total) - 4 sample chapters (Approx 8,000 words total) The genre of the books is young adult (teen) fantasy.
