Business name Traveling Light Studio Description of business Traveling Light Studio is a photography business that specializes in people (portraits, sports, kids, family) and nature (landscapes, wildlife, flowers, etc.). Almost all my photography is done on location--I don't have a storefront studio. I also do volunteer photography for non-profit organizations. It would be nice if the logo would print well on white, too. To be used on Print (Business cards, letterheads, brochures etc) Online (Website, online advertising, banner ads etc) Merchandise (Mugs, T-shirts etc) Notes I would like a logo that portrays energy, warmth, and professionalism. Please, no cliches--no cameras, no film strips, no aperatures (unless very abstract or highly stylized). And no cameras on wheels (or whatever) just because my business name has 'traveling' in the title! Nothing cutesy or frilly or grunge. This logo/card should look somewhat appealing to a 15-year old skateboarder, his older sister for her senior photo, their mother, a mountain biker, the guy taking bird photos standing next to me, and his mother who gardens and has a PhD! It's not for wedding photography or serious commercial shoots. It should be professional enough to give to non-profit organizations to introduce my volunteer services, too. I tend to like brush/script fonts (because of the energy) and sans serifs (because they are so clean). I would like to see a logo that would look cool (but not radical) on a ballcap :-) Keep in mind that this is a logo/business card package. Right now I would prefer to concentrate on the logo but as that develops with some favorites, I will add some business card details. I would like to see both a one-sided card with all the info (that may be hard to make look nice...) and a two-sided card with logo and/or web on one side and other info on the other side. I probably have a slight preference for horizontal format, but if you think a vertical looks awesome, show it to me! Other suggestions are that I have really liked seeing the logos on a colored background, on white, on black, and as a semi-transparent white (that's probably called something but I don't know what it is). Sometimes the colors in the logo have to change to look good on the different backgounds--that's just fine. Whatever looks best.
