Job Description We are seeking a designer and/or engineer proficient with the SolidWorks, Catia, or an equivalent suite of programs. The key objective will be to finalize the design of the patented Safeboard foldable child seat (restraint) to the existing dimensions of the model. The tasks will ultimately be to (1) identify an appealing, competent, and functioning design; (2) select acceptable materials and components for the restraint; (3) motion test the Safeboard to regulatory impact test standards through software simulations; and (4) finalize an optimum design for prototype manufacturing and testing. We are looking for someone who can conduct these tasks in a professional, proficient, and timely manner. Experience from the automobile industry is an advantage.
