Job Description I run a web content outsourcing department within an online marketing agency. I need a reliable VA to help with the admin. Estimated workload is 5-8 hours per week. ROLE DESCRIPTION * Ordering articles and blog posts from freelance writers, proofreading and copy-editing them to standard, paying the writers, and updating me with expenditures at the end of each week * Writing some articles and product descriptions as required. * Writing/managing content for our own websites/email newsletters as required. * Other projects such as managing social media campaigns as required. REQUIRED SKILLS * Above all you must know how to write. This is essential for spotting flaws in the writing you will be editing. Short-listed applicants will be sent a sample article and product description to copy-edit as a test of their skills. * Must be proficient at sales copy, as this is a large part of the orders we receive. * Must know how to use WordPress. * Must have at least basic knowledge of SEO. * Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and work to deadlines. * Excellent written communication skills. * Experience in an editing environment preferred.
