Back-End Engineer Contract work to develop and implement web-applications using php (LAMP) to support the distribution of genetic results and will be responsible for: ? Maintenance/Development of: Core PHP Library Web Applications including: Dynamic PDF Pipeline, Members Area Website, Partner API, Internal Tools ? Code Repository Management ? Prototyping ? Unit testing ? Application Design ? Configuration Management ? participate in agile development process This is a mid-level position and the candidate should be able to demonstrate competency in the following technical areas: ? SQL, MySQL ? Apache Configuration ? Scripting Languages: PHP >= 5.2, Perl, Javascript ? OOP ? MVC ? Linux, bash skills: grep, find, rpm, yum, etc... ?
